The entrance to the approximately 7 acre playing field is in Station Road, just before the end of the 30mph speed limit.
There is a children’s play area with a slide and swings etc, a multi-use games area and a cricket pitch marked out.  The field is the home venue for Blundeston & Somerleyton Cricket Club, which has 2 changing rooms and a toilet block on the field.  There is space to mark out a football pitch.
The field is used casually by local residents for walking, picnics etc.  Those taking dogs onto the field are requested to clear up behind them because there’s nothing worse than a playing child falling in dog mess.
When not being used for a booked activity the multi use games area may be used casually.  There are organised Tennis Mix-Ins on Mondays and Thursdays at 7.00pm in the summer – everyone is welcome to join in.
